To The Editor:

We wish to voice a loud hurrah to the Calais Area Chamber of Commerce for its role in promoting three events in Calais during the past weekend (September 26-27) one of which it organized and sponsored.

Welcome back to the Busy Halls of CHS. This week Calais High School groups are preparing for annual events, putting together and participating in new events, getting the Class of 2015’s yearbook ready, and honoring one teacher’s accomplishments. Let’s jump in to this week’s news.

Another beautiful week of fine weather.  The evenings are cooling off but the days temps are providing  wonderful fall weather.  The color in eastern Washington County is fading now but as you head southward there are still beautiful hues! We are looking forward to seeing everyone this week.
