Irene Chadbourne Food Pantry Needs $17,000 to Open Emergency Shelter

Thousands of dollars and hundreds of volunteer man hours have been invested in building an emergency shelter for individuals and families facing medical, fire or disaster hardships. This three-bedroom, fully furnished shelter, which will serve the Calais area and Washington County, is now complete.

Attention everyone, the Community Christmas Tree is up and lit up at the Alexander Fire Station/Town Office for everyone to enjoy.  Alden Mingo from Mingo Evergreen donated a tree to the Alexander Volunteer Fire Fighters.  Thank you Alden!

  The activity schedules posted for Princeton Elementary School include: Wed., Dec. 2-Drama Practice from 2 to 2:45 and Girls Scouts meet at 4pm. On Thursday, Dec. 3rd there will be Floor Hockey with Mrs. Bailey’s team vs Mr. Hikel’s team from 2 to 2:45.
