Despite Windy Weather, 3rd Annual Art & Crafts Along the Waterfront A Success

Saturday turned out to be windy and cool at the start of the 3rd annual Art and Crafts Along the Waterfront event. Despite the temperature and breeze that caused more than one canopy to be taken down, it was a fine day to be on the riverfront walkway in Calais.

Over 400 Cyclists Will Explore Hancock and Washington Counties Between September 10 and 17

 BikeMaine, a seven-day, 350-mile cycling adventure that celebrates the people, places, culture and food of Maine, will take riders through Hancock and Washington counties between September 10 and 17. Produced by the Bicycle Coalition of Maine, the event will host over 400 cyclists who will experience authentic Downeast Maine as they "Discover the Bold Coast."

Music on the Green Final Concert

The final concert on the Green was Pitch Black Ribbons sponsored by the Urban Moose and  F.A. Peabody. The group played a blend of country and blues with a catchy sound. The CDRC and everyone involved with the Music on the Green would like to thank all those who attended and helped support the concerts.
