Maine Primary Care Association Presents Senator Collins with Health Advocate Award

The Maine Primary Care Association recently presented U.S. Senator Susan Collins with the National Association of Community Health Centers’ 2017 Distinguished Community Health Advocate Award. Senator Collins received this honor for her leadership as well as her longstanding support of Maine’s community health centers.

Nominations Sought for Norman Nelson Community Service Award

 

The Washington County Democrats are seeking nominations for a community service award to be presented at their annual Norman Nelson dinner on May 20. 

Nominees should be residents of Washington County who have distinguished themselves  in service to their communities. Political party affiliation is not a consideration.

Hometown News - U.S. Air Force Airman Devon R. Perkins graduated

 

U.S. Air Force Airman Devon R. Perkins graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
