To The Editor - regarding the latest version of the Senate Tax Bill

 On behalf of 230,000 AARP members in the state of Maine, I am writing with great concern regarding the latest version of the Senate Tax Bill.  Congressional leaders are trying to rush this bill into law and there are several aspects of the bill which would have dire consequences for millions of Americans including thousands in the state of Maine.

Greenland Point Center Raises $900 with Raffle

A recently concluded raffle held on behalf of Greenland Point Center in Princeton raised $900 for the conservation camp. Jean Neddeau was the winner of 100 gallons of fuel oil donated by VL Tammaro, Gary Dowling won 25 pounds of lobster, and JJ Tibbets won 10 pounds of scallops. BBS Lobster Company graciously provided donations.

650 Community Members Join in Thanksgiving Feast

The Second Baptist Church was a lively place on Thanksgiving, with hundreds of community members coming to enjoy a free Thanksgiving meal with their friends and loved ones. 650 meals were served by the end of the day, all of which were provided and served by volunteers.
