APRIL 11: RESCHEDULED FROM MARCH 14 - 50th Anniversary Tribute, The Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem Sing of the Sea - songs from the most influential sea music recording performed by members of “From Away Downeast” at the Pembroke Library at 6:30 p.m. 


 Grand Lake Stream – Carolyn Lee James, 73, passed away on April 2, 2018 in Calais. Carolyn was born in St. Stephen, New Brunswick on November 30, 1944 to Melvin and Doris (Harriman) Mitchell, of Baileyville. 


Perry – Audrey Joyce Sears, 78, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 5, 2018 at her home in Perry.  Audrey was born in Calais on April 2, 1940, daughter of Howard and Evangeline (Johnson) Lincoln.


Alexander – John Aaron Haley, 77, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Calais Regional Hospital after a long illness, with his loving family at his side.  John was born in Milltown, New Brunswick, son of Ned and Ethel Haley on January 26, 1941.  Over the years John worked for the City of Calais, Thomas Dicenzo and Atlantic Rehab. 

Calais Free Library’s Spring Soup & Poetry
