The K, 1 and 2 class had a nice surprise visit from a talented group of musicians. Kris Paprocki, Meagan Paprocki and their friend donated some of their time and talent. While they played violin, banjo and guitar, the kids clapped and danced around the room. The students really enjoyed the music and had a really good time. Jessica Welsh arranged the visit.

In sports, basketball practice is off to a good start. The first game will be February 11th against Alexander. Cheerleading practice started on January 29th from 2:30 until second bus. Due to harsh weather conditions we have this winter, the RGS staff is encouraging all spectators to bring an item for the local food pantry. There will be a box to place them in at each home game.

The PTC met on January 24th to make plans for the upcoming spaghetti dinner on April 13th. Also, Paracord bracelets will be made and sold at home games. The next PTC meeting is February 14th at 6:00 p.m.

The second quarter had ended and report cards will go home on February 1st.
