Maine’s K-12 Junior Duck Stamp Contest Correction

 

The nineteenth annual statewide competition for the Federal Junior Duck Stamp Design Contest is underway.  

The deadline for submissions is coming up – entries must be received by March 15, 2013.  The judging for this year’s Maine Junior Duck Stamp Contest will be held at Washington County Community College on March 27th from 9:00 a.m. to noon and is open to the public.  

MNWR and Cobscook Community Learning Center, partners in hosting the annual Down East Spring Birding Contest each Memorial Day weekend, will collaborate to facilitate the judging.

The US Fish and Wildlife Service’s national display panel will be touring Washington County in the coming weeks.  If your school or organization would like to provide a location to set up the display for public viewing, please call Carrie at the CCLC, 733-2233 ext. 322, to arrange dates.
