Easter blessings to all my readers.

I’m sure you’ve all noticed “When I Grow Up” in the Bangor paper last week. Amazing, the imagination they have as kindergarten and first and second graders. Their drawings just warmed my heart. Their keen little minds are so precious.

April Fool’s Day on April 1st. “Pulling a prank on a friend is totally harmless.”

Now is the time to start your seeds indoors. Store seeds in the refrigerator until ready to use.

The Valley Gospel Singers held a wonderful concert on Saturday evening at Second Baptist Church. They sang some oldie hymns and lots of favorites. They are a super group. A beautiful lunch was served.

Sending get well wishes to Elaine Holland, Cudgie Waycott and Millie Burgess.  Prayers for Steve McFadden’s father.

Sunrise service at Second Baptist on Sunday, March 31st. will be held at 6:30 am. The Easter Cantata will be presented by the church choir at 6:30 pm.

April 1st is Hospital Auxiliary meeting followed by a spring auction. So bring your goodies to sell at 6 pm.

A Maunday Thursday supper will be held at St. Anne’s at 5:30 pm. Service at 6:30.  Good Friday - March 29th services noon and 6:30 pm. Easter Sunday feast. Sounds like a busy week.

April 4th VFW meeting at St. Anne’s at 6 pm.

I had a nice visit with Deanne Jackson at her home in Robbinston on Sunday afternoon.

Ralph and Donalda Allen spent overnight with daughter Dawn and family to celebrate the Grand Opening of her new beauty salon in New Hampshire. There were door prizes, free gifts to each one attending and refreshments served. Donalda has pictures to show. A beautiful addition to their home.
