Calais Police Department

On Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at approximately 8:10 p.m., officers responded to Cherry Lane. They were looking for Carl McCoubrey, 42 of Calais,. He was arrested for a warrant out of Washington County Superior Court for domestic assault. Carl was transported to Washington County Jail.
On Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at approximately 8:30 a.m. officer responded to Rite Aid after an employee located damage to the drive through pharmacy window. It appeared that the window had been struck several times in an attempt to break it. If anyone witnessed anything or saw someone or something around Rite Aid please call the Calais Police Department at 454-2751.
On Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at approximately 8:38 p.m. an officer located Daniel Pinney, 25, of Calais operating his grey 2003 Chevrolet truck on Main Street in Calais. The officer arrested Pinney for operating after suspension.
On Thursday, May 9, 2013 at approximately 6:15 p.m. officers located Carlos Cabezas-Acencio, 28 of Bangor in the King China parking lot. The Calais Police Department had been contacted by Penbonscot County SO to watch for this subject as they had an arrest warrant issued to arson. TheĀ  Department was given descriptions of two different vehicles he may be travelling in. Carlos was arrested on that warrant.
On Thursday, May 9, 2013 at approximately 6:24 p.m. officers responded to Label Shopper on Main Street in Calais for some kind of disturbance that was reported. Sean Stinston, 41, of Princeton was arrested for domestic violence assault and was issued a summons for possession of a usable amount of marijuana. Sean was transported to Washington County Jail.
On Saturday, May 11, 2013 at approximately 7:12 a.m. an officer responded to the Main Street Port of Entry. Daniel West, 32, of Calais was issued a summons for operating a grey 2005 Chevrolet.
On Sunday, May 12, 2013 at approximately 7:20 a.m. an officer responded to a River Road residence and spoke to a male subject who stated that he had been assaulted. Diane Wolverton, 59, of Calais was located later on Main Street in Calais and was issued a summons for domestic violence.
