Indian Township – Rhonda Rose Sabattus, 31, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, May 18, 2013 at a Bangor hospital.  Rhonda was born in Calais on August 10, 1981.  She attended Indian Township schools and Lee Academy.  Rhonda enjoyed fishing, bingo, four-wheeling, being around friends; but above all, spending time with her children.  She was predeceased by her father Stephen Sabattus, and a brother George Sabattus.  Surviving are her two children, Nipon and Kevin “Grizz” Sabattus; her mothers Mae Sabattus and Ada Sue Tomah; grandmother Marjorie LaCoote; her fiancé Chris Tomah; four sisters, Karen, Irene and her fiancé Stephen, Mary and her husband Richard, and Elona; 10 brothers, Walter, Alex, Nathan, Trevor, Clint, Richard, Patrick, Karl, Stephen, and Frank; her Godparents, Nancy Polches and Paul Tomah; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; special cousins and friends Mary Sockabasin and Krystal Best; four canine companions, Buddy, Nitap, Muwin, and Qus; and two feline companions Pebbles and Espon.  Visiting hours will be held at her mother’s home, 466 Peter Dana Point Rd., Indian Township, until 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2013.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. James Plourde 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, at St. Ann R.C.
