Baileyville Police Report

The Baileyville Police Department was busy last week with thirty-seven calls for service. The calls included a fire assist, domestic dispute, an accident, theft and two summonses.

A September 9, the department assisted at the Woodland Manor for a reported fire.

On September 11, on-duty officer responded to a medical call on Broadway. Patient was transferred to Calais Regional by Downeast Ambulance.

On September 11, a call came in from South Princeton for a domestic dispute. On-duty officer restored the peace.

On September 11, the report of a car-deer crash came in from Houlton Road. No damage was reported to the car but the deer was totalled.

On September 12, a call came in for a well being check on South Princeton Road. A neighbor asked that a person be checked on. Subject was found to have fallen and was on the floor for approximately five hours.

On September 12, Ralph Green, 35, of New Rochelle, New York was stopped on Route 9. It was found that Green’s Maine license was suspended and he was summonsed for operating after suspension.

On September 13, a report of a stolen ATV came in from the Track Road. While the complainant was in the woods, his ATV was stolen. The next day the ATV was located in the woods a short distance from where it was taken.

On September 15, a subject noticed a cruiser following the car in which he was a passenger. He called 9-1-1 to report a fight at school. When the location of the phone did not match the reported location, the officer called ahead to have Indian Township police stop the vehicle. As a result Richard Soucy, 26, of Pleasant Point was summonsed for calling a false public report.

The department also made 10 traffic stops and issued 9 warnings and one summons.
