I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Last month we had 5.83 inches of rain, most of that was during the day before Thanksgiving. We were fortunate not to lose power here.

I didn’t have a column in last week I sprained my left ankle and as a result didn’t make it to Pomona Grange in Princeton. I am sure Arline Flood will give a report in her column. Pomona Grange is in recess until next May.

Last Saturday, Darlene McConnel and I attended the Christmas Tea at the Robbinston Historical Society. The weather cooperated and we had a wonderful time. There were sandwiches, sweets, coffee and tea as well as a raffle and entertainment. Mary Ann Duvall and Carol Hollingdale performed their version of “Twelve Days of Christmas.” Everyone sang some Christmas songs and had a good time.
