Over 25 businesses spruced up for this friendly holiday decorating competition and residents and visitors were winners, too.  As people went about their holiday business, they got to see all the super decorations.

Just in case you might have missed one, here’s the list of all businesses who participated:  Artemis’s Attic, Bangor Savings Bank, Border Subz, Boston Shoe Store, C.I.A., Calais Bookshop, Calais Screen Printing, Down East Credit Union, Dunkin’ Donuts, Eastern Maine Appliance, First National Bank, Flowers by Janie, Freshies – On the Run, Hair I Am, Headlines Hair Studio, Kendall Fine Jewelers, Label Shopper, Machias Savings Bank, Maine Motor Vehicle, Maineline Studio, Merciers Hair Salon, Sherwin Williams, South of the Border, Tami Smith Accounting, Urban Moose, Wabanaki Culture Center, and Yancy’s. The contest was sponsored by the Calais Downtown Revitalization Coalition (CDRC)  in  hopes of starting a city tradition and bringing a delightful experience for citizens in the Calais area.
