Calais Police Report

Over the past week, Calais Police Officers have responded to 52 incidents, 2 motor vehicle accidents and issued one traffic citation.  The following list includes some of the action taken by Calais PD this week.

On 2-10-14 Jill Hayman, 36, of Calais was summoned for theft from Walmart after officers were called there for a report of shoplifting.

On 2-14-14, as the result of a complaint filed on 1-31-14, Sarah Densmore, 25, of St. Stephen was summoned for theft.  On that date, Ms Densmore is alleged to have shoplifted from Label Shopper.

Also on 2-14-14, a juvenile male was summoned for assault after officers were called to Palmer St. to assist with a disturbance. 

2-14-14 continued with a summons for operating after suspension, and for violation of conditions of release for Bobbi-Sue Kierstead, 30, of Calais.

On 2-15-14 officers were again dispatched to Palmer St. for a disturbance.  At that time another juvenile male was summoned for assault.

Also on 2-15-13, officers answered a complaint at Calais Regional Hospital.  As a result of that investigation, Wayne Rehnelt, 62, of Perry was summoned for assault.

2-16-14 ended the week with a summons issued in regard to a complaint filed on 1-8-14.  Nathan Spear, 22, of Calais was summoned for criminal mischief for an incident reported on Fowler St. on 1-31-14.
