SummerKeys Concert

Kent Hewitt, jazz pianist/composer and SummerKeys faculty member returns to the Lubec stage for the 11th season on July 16th for a solo concert of “Jazz Piano Stylings”.  A consummate soloist and accompanist, he's been a mainstay of jazz music in Connecticut and musical director for the state's top nightclubs.  Kent has written a jazz piano book, Jazz Piano, Methods and Songbook which he uses in his teaching.   

Mr. Hewitt's program will include music by the great American composer, Cole Porter.    The evening's concert will also include songs by the jazz legend, Miles Davis, as well as a piece by Italian composer, Bruno Martino.  The program will conclude with a Gospel Medley.

Water Street Tavern will host intermission refreshments.
