Arline Flood

We don’t need the AC anymore! I went swimming with Louise and Marcia on September 5 in Meddybemps Lake and it was wonderful...and now it’s cold.

Ronnie drove to Bangor to pick Eric up from a flight from Arizona.

Danny is improving from his recent surgery and having tests to check out his breathing. He is home at Woodland Manor.

Tony and Sam Wheelock were home last week from Durham and working on their camp with little Emma. She was wearing a shirt with the words Big Sister on it. She will have a sibling in early March. She went in the water with us and had a great time.

I don’t have any news from last week’s Selectboard meeting yet. The flag pole is ready to be set for the flag that the grange donated.

Cathance Grange will meet on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. We will meet with the supper community about the September 27 supper at 6:00 p.m.

I’ve had an interesting week watching the good progress of a trail by the snowmobile club, crossing over Dead Stream with a nice little bridge. There has been lots of volunteers helping out with this. It will be a bonus for the fire department as they have access to the stream to fill up the fire truck.

Don’t forget the supper in Meddybemps this coming Saturday on the 13th.
