JANUARY 17: Baked Bean Supper at Parish Hall in Dennysville at 5:00 p.m. Hot dogs, casseroles, etc.

JANUARY 17: The Ascensions in concert at Second Baptist Church in Calais at 6:30 p.m.

JANUARY 18: IOOF Hall – Doors open 11am for lunch;  BINGO at 1 pm.

JANUARY 22: Free Spaghetti Supper at the Second Baptist Church in Calais from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

JANUARY 24: Fifth Annual Family Fun Day at Cobscook Bay State Park from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Cost $1.50 for ages 12-64. All others are free. Contact phone 726-4412.

JANUARY 30 - First installment from Kenneth Clark’s Civilization: A Personal View - Lincoln Memorial Library in Dennysville (Rte. 86, King St.) - 7 p.m. (to be continued each last Friday of every month).

-Mondays: Basic Computer Skills Classes 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Lincoln Memorial Library in Dennysville, King Street. Computers available, but bringing your own preferable - dates: 12/1; 12/8 ; 12/15; 12/22

-Tuesdays: At the Calais Free Library: Tap Your Toes Tuesdays,   10:30 am to 11:00 am.  Babies, toddlers, and caregivers are invited to join for a fun program.

-3rd Wednesday of Each Month: St. Croix International Quilter’s Guild meets at the Methodist Homes Rec Center, 6:00 p.m. New members welcome.

-Last Wednesday of the Month: Seniority Breakfast at 7:00 a.m.

-Wednesdays: TOPS Chapter #ME228 Baileyville meets at the United Methodist Church in Baileyville, Third and Summit, from 3:30 p.m to 4:30 p.m. Members are welcome and needed.

-Wednesdays: AL-ANON meets at 6:30 p.m. in the old Calais Hospital basement.

-Wednesdays: Morning Knitters at Calais Free Library.

-Thursdays: ‘Souper-Market’ at the Congregational  Church Dennysville parish hall  (15 King St./Rt. 86). Eat in or take out. Homemade- Soups, Breads, Cookies, Pies, Granola, Local greenhouse vegetables, root vegetables, apples, eggs, jams, jewelry, craft items. Weekly buying club orders with Crown of Maine  Denny’s River Farmers Market

-Thursdays: Science for Kids at the Calais Free Library, 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. For elementary age students. Meet November 6, 13, 20.

-Fridays: Wiggles and Giggles at the Calais Free Library at 10:30 a.m. Babies, toddlers, and caregivers are welcome.

-Fridays: Free Film Fridays at the Calais Free Library every Friday at 6:30 P.M. Eastern.  Please call the library at 454-2758 to find you what’s showing next.

-Saturdays: Shape-Note singing at the Cobscook Community Learning Center, first Saturday of every month from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Potluck supper after. All levels of experience welcome.

-Saturdays: Outdoor Adventure Club at the CCLC from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. For youth age 8-12, all skill levels. FMI call 207-733-2233.
