Troop J

This week Troop J responded to 124 calls for service. The following are noteworthy complaints:


Trooper Jacob Ferland arrested Brendon Bubar, 26, of Harrington for violating his conditions of release. Trooper Staci Carpenter assisted.


Trooper Miles Carpenter responded to a harassment complaint. Warnings were given.


Trooper Miles Carpenter arrested Joshua Robinson, 27, in Charlotte for having active warrants for his arrest. Sergeant Jeffrey Ingemi assisted.

Trooper Chad Lindsey responded to a crash in Vanceboro where he arrested the operator, Miles Cropley, 50, for operating under the influence of alcohol. Vanceboro Fire assisted at the scene.


Trooper Chad Lindsey and Trooper Jake Ferland responded to a rollover crash in Charlotte where the operator had fled the scene on foot. The Maine Warden Service assisted with a K-9 track and Trooper Lindsey arrested Hazen McDugald, 38, for operating under the influence of alcohol, aggravated criminal mischief and leaving the scene of a personal injury crash. Pleasant Point Police Department assisted.


Trooper Bryan Creamer was dispatched by the Bangor RCC to a report of a burglary in Harrington. It was reported that Justin Faulkingham, 27, of Cherryfield was intoxicated and had entered a residence. Justin was located on the property and arrested. He was charged with Burglary and Criminal Trespass. Trooper Chris Smith and Marine Patrol Officer Keith York assisted.


Trooper Kim Sawyer gave warnings for telephone harassment.

Sergeant Tim Varney responded to a residence in Great Pond to keep the peace regarding a landlord/tenant dispute.

Trooper Caleb McGary and Detective Greg Roy conducted a traffic stop on Main Street in Franklin. The passenger and owner of the truck, Kenneth Seavey, 20, was arrested for possession of a concealed weapon without a permit and also summonsed for illegal possession of liquor by a minor.


Trooper Chris Smith responded to a wanted out request in Franklin. As a result Tricia Cormier, 19, was arrested on 2 outstanding warrants out of Cumberland County Court for failure to appear and probation revocation.


Trooper Caleb McGary and Detective Greg Roy received a possible theft complaint; a vehicle was sold without her permission. Through investigation the vehicle was tracked down and provisions were set to get the vehicle back to the complainant.
