Another busy week, mounting flags for “Project Legion Flags”! We are close to 100% of our limit, for the light poles in down town Calais area! Phase ll, will be mounting flags, from the traffic circle, down to Washington Street in Calais! We are still accepting donations for this project. I want to thank everyone for their donations, in Memory of, or dedicated to a Family member or a personal Veteran! 

May 23rd, we will be placing flags on our veterans graves, at 8:00 a.m. at the Calais Veterans Cemetery. We will start with a brief Flag Raising Ceremony, at the Veterans Cemetery! Refreshments and snacks will be available for all volunteers! Please help, and support our veterans and their families! Dress appropriately, for weather conditions! 

May 25th, Memorial Day, will be the Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony, starting at 10:00am at the Calais Post Office! Any and All Veterans and organizations are welcome to participate. Please notify me. 

We are sending prayers for John Harvey and Family, Baileyville, for a speedy recovery. “We Served-We Deserve”! We are all a military family!
