One event from Winter Carnival week continuing is Tape the Principal “Mr. Flood” to the Wall. The taping to the wall will take place on Friday, February 26th.  Want to get in on the fun?  Stop in at AES and buy duct tape for $ .25 a yard. The AES PTG and 8th grade class are selling Money Calendars to be awarded during the month of April.  If a name is pulled it will be re-entered in the drawing leaving you many chances to win.  Calendars are $10 each.

The AES Library was not open this past week, with snow days and school delays due to weather and Winter Carnival it was a week full of other activities.

Dr. Seuss’s birthday is coming right up on March 2nd.  The 2nd and 3rd grade will be celebrating this special occasion.  They will be reading as many Dr. Seuss books as they can.

The “Books for Bikes” is on again.  This year it includes all grades in the school.  Your child should be bringing home a form to fill out after reading a book.  This is just a short form, name, age, teacher, book author and a quick description.

If you would like more information on any of the AES activities please call the school during school hours at 454-2623.
