First National Bank Donates to Local Food Pantries

First National Bank recently announced that it has made donations totaling $14,000 to seventeen food banks in market’s area. “First National Bank is grateful for the critical services that our food banks provide to our neighbors in need,” remarked Tony C. McKim, President and CEO. “As a Maine community bank, it is our goal to respond to the needs of these vital organizations that serve and help these families put food on the table.” 

Woodland Community Food Pantry and the Irene Chadbourne Ecumenical Food Pantry were recipients of these funds. The Woodland Community Food Pantry is located at 55 Broadway Street in Baileyville. The Irene Chadbourne Ecumenical Food Pantry is located at 513 Main Street in Calais. The pantry is open Mondays from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m, Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to noon, Thursdays 10:00 a.m. to noon and Fridays 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. For more information, call 207-214-8553.
