3rd Annual Art and Crafts Along the Waterfront

By Amy Jeanroy

Fall is the most beautiful season here in Downeast Maine, and it is also the perfect time of year to see what our local art and craftsman have to offer. The St. Croix Chamber of Commerce is once again hosting their annual Art and Crafts Along the Waterfront event on September 24th from noon to 5 p.m. Attendees will enjoy walking along the Calais Waterfront Walkway, enjoying local art and crafts, live music and Jo's Diner and Pizzeria will once again be serving their famous fish chowder. Snow cones will be available for the young at heart, along with beer and wine tasting throughout the day.

Admission is free, and there is still free space available for any art and craftsmen who would like to attend.

"Any opportunity to bring together the community in a positive way, is a good day," says Interim Director, Amy Jeanroy.

Arts and Crafts Along the Riverfront will be held on September 24th from 12-5 pm, just behind the Wabanaki Cultural Museum. To register for the event or to inquire more, send an e-mail to Amy Jeanroy at visitstcroixvalley@gmail.com or call 454-2308.
