The Alexander Grange met for their regular meeting on Wednesday, September 21st for a pot luck supper and joint installation with several other granges.  The evening started with a delicious supper of salads, beans, ham, mac n’ cheese, and veggies fresh from the garden, the meal ended with an array of sweets and scrumptious ice cream sundaes.  From there the grangers gathered for a meeting and installation of officers.  Elizabeth McVicar and Barbara Webber (both who are past Masters) did a great job as the Installing Masters along with their Marshalls, Lenny Hanson, Willow Newman and Ashleigh Pyles.  The new Master at the Alexander Grange is now Dale Holst, Barbara Webber is the Over Seer, the remaining officers stayed the same with the exception of Steward who is now Willow Newman and LAS who is Ashleigh Pyles.  The evening ended with congratulations and wishes of Good Luck.

Mark your calendars for James and Starla Dean in Concert at the People’s United Methodist Church in Baileyville on October 7th at 6:30 p.m. with light refreshments after.  James and Starla sing Southern Gospel and it should be a fun evening with some great music.  Hope to see you there!

I had a great week filled with fun with my Beckett Center friends.  We went to WCCC for basketball practice and played Wii Rock Band.  We also went for walks and just chilled outside with our friends.  We were able to go to Linda’s Pizza for lunch one day and order out at some of our favorite restaurants on Friday.  I attended the Alexander Grange Installation, had a delicious supper and was installed in the office of Flora. Sunday morning I woke with the sniffles and hoped it was only allergies, but after a bit there was a headache and cough involved.
