Calais, Dennysville - Burleigh T. Dudley, 64, passed away at a Bangor hospital on Sunday, September 18, 2016. He was born in Calais December 26, 1951, the son of Norman and Blanch (Morrison) Dudley).

Burleigh graduated from Shead High School. He was a fireman for Calais for 11 years and in Scarborough for 6 years. His true love was his yorkie Bowser who he lost to diabetes. He loved his sports, golf was his favorite. His favorite teams were the Boston Red Sox and the Patriots. He was known for his big smile and joking around and making people laugh.

Burleigh is survived by his daughters Tammy Comeau and her husband Stephen and Barbara Coover and her husband Paul. His grandchildren Mike, Erika, Chris, Courtney and Brayden. His great-grandchildren Austin, Nikkita, Kohl and Rhyan, his sister Frances Spear and her husband Wayne, his nephews Barry and Alan and their families. He will be missed by many cousins, family and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents Norman and Blanch Dudley and his great-grandmother Destiny.


A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 1st at 1:00 p.m. at the Dennysville Cemetery in Dennysville. Maine. A reception will be held after the service.
