Final 2016 No Cost Cat Spay Neuter Clinic

On October 22–24, PAWS Brave Hearts will host its final 2016 community spay neuter clinic for income-qualified families in collaboration with HelpFixME, AWS/The Cleo Fund and Topsham-based Community Spay Neuter Clinic (CSNC).  Washington County residents whose cats need to be spayed or neutered can still sign up for the clinic that includes spay/neuter, a wellness exam and rabies vaccination.  Families will also have the opportunity to vaccinate for distemper, deworm and deflea their cats for a nominal fee.

These clinics are focused on three very important goals: first, to improve the health and well being of beloved feline companions by making these services affordable and convenient to income-qualified Washington County families; second, to reduce overpopulation of felines who outnumber the loving homes available to them; and, third, to reduce the suffering of so many kittens who are unable to survive or thrive when they are born outdoors.  Community cats being fed by Good Samaritans are also welcome at this clinic without regard to income qualifications.  In either case, the available spaces are filling up and residents need to pre-register right away with CSNC at 207-721-8395 to reserve their spaces.
