Pumpkins stored properly at 50 degrees to 55 degrees can last up to 2 months.

St. Anne’s Church supper on Friday was a great success with plenty of casseroles, beans, rolls, hot dogs and pumpkin pie for dessert.  Dick Ramsey was the lucky winner of the apple pie.

VFW meeting at St. Anne’s on November 3rd at 6 pm.

Book and Gift Fair at CRH classroom on Thursday, October 27th at 11 - 4 pm and Friday 7 - 3 pm.

Don’t forget Donation Day on Thursday, October 27th at the hospital Gift and Coffee Shop 9 am - 2 pm. All donations will be eligible for a pie drawing.

There will be a yard sale at St. Patrick’s Hall on Friday, October 28th and Saturday, October 29th (8 am U.S.) sponsored by Milltown, C.W.I.

For the quilters: 

Of all the things a woman’s hands have made, the quilt is lightly thrown across her bed. 

The quilt that keeps her loved ones warm - Is woven of her love and dreams and thread.

Cut the Cake: Debbie McFarlane, David Burke, Maureen Pike, Heidi Norton, Kelly Lindquist, Forest Woodruff, Mark Kidder, Kathy Lyons, Sharon LeConte, Norman Johnson, Irene DelMonico.

Rev. Sara Gavit, Pat and Wayne Sammer gave reports of Diacesan Convention held in Portland on Saturday. Next year the convention will be held in Bangor.

Food pantry is in need of canned pasta.
