This week at C.H.S Addison Coty placed 20th in the cross country state championship. The rock-a-thon was on November 7th. Twenty-six kids raised over two thousand dollars to benefit the children who spend the holidays at Aroostook Mental Health Center.

In the weeks to come we have a winter parents meeting on Tuesday the 15th in the High School cafeteria at 6 p.m.  and on Wednesday the 16th there will be a fall athletic banquet in the cafeteria at 6 p.m. The Calais High School Band is putting on a coffeehouse Thursday the 18th in the High School cafeteria at 6:30 p.m.  Snacks and refreshments will be served.

The school would also like to welcome two new staff members, Shauna Brooks, who is the new director of food services and a graduate of Calais High School. We would also like to welcome Jasmil Patillo who is the new Guidance counselor. The Calais Middle and High School Student councils will be attending a leadership conference in Brewer on December 8th. It is open to any student in a leadership position, Student Council, National Honors Society, Class Officers etc.

The Mission of Calais High School is to provide a positive learning environment where a student develops the skills, knowledge, and attitude necessary to become a responsible and productive citizen.
