Curves of Calais Announces Local Winners of Strong Women Challenge

Curves of Calais today announced the local winners of the Curves Strong Women Challenge.  The 10-week challenge recognizes, rewards and celebrates the dedicated women of Curves. Curves offers a 30 minute full body workout in addition to a supportive environment where members can focus on their personal health goals with a coach. 

The local winners include: 

• Inspirational Curves Strong Women of the Year:  Anne Scott of Calais, ME, won for overcoming significant challenges and obstacles in her life to achieve where she is today. 

• Healthy Curves Strong Women of the Year:  Kathy Smith of Calais. ME, has been recognized as a member who has overcome health concerns. 

• Transformed Curves Strong Women of the Year/10-Week Transformation:  Cheryl MacFadyen of St. Stephen, NB, has been rewarded for experiencing a transformation in her physical appearance and/or her attitude and motivation towards a healthy lifestyle during the challenge period. 

As part of the challenge, participants were required to work out a minimum of 3 times per week over the 10 weeks in addition to attending monthly coaching sessions in order to qualify. 

“We are so proud of everyone that took part in the Curves Strong Women Challenge,” said Marianne Moore at the Curves of Calais. “We are thrilled with the dedication the women of Calais and St. Stephen have to their personal health and wellness.”
