Attached is a photo relating to the music program, In photo left to right: Kristen Curtis, Kadance Ward, Kyrsten Stegman, and Mrs. Sullivan.

Due to the number of students participating in the music program, Mrs. Sullivan, Princeton Elementary School’s music teacher, applied for and was awarded a Lowe’s grant for the purpose of increasing the music room size and acquiring new instruments. Over the summer, along with hired contractors, Mrs. Sullivan facilitated the reconstruction of the new “sound proof” room. (It’s still a work in progress.) Many late nights were spent painting the new walls. Students were so enthusiastic with the new room and “different” instruments, they asked for additional time with Mrs. Sullivan to experiment playing instruments such as xylophones. Because Mrs. Sullivan’s schedule is jam packed, she volunteered to start a music club after school. So far, three 5th grade girls have joined on Thursday afternoons. Anyone can join, and students can catch the late bus at 2:45. Kudos to Mrs. Sullivan! The staff and community of Princeton appreciate her efforts tremendously.
