At Dyer Brook the hosts took an early 17-14 lead with balanced scoring but Mathers and Altvater took charge in the second period burying 9/10 respectively to close out the half in charge 44-24, then playing to a 26 point victory. In the loss Matt Miller scored 11-points and Riley Russell 10. Moody and Phelps pulled in 7 rebounds apiece.



Woodland 58  J-B 48

At home on senior night the Dragons fell behind 18-14 to the visiting Royals from J-B who had upset them earlier in the season in Jonesport. Through a strong second frame the hosts took charge and gained a 32-25 midway lead that they held to the finish in a 58-48 win. The Dragons did an exceptional job keeping the Royals off the free throw line, allowing only 5 attempts in 32 minutes. Kalob Moody paced the win with 16-points; Drew Hayward hit 13 with 6 assists, Riley Russell added 10, Sabre Phelps scored 7, and Matt Miller connected with 6 and 10 rebounds.



Calais 55   Woodland 54

At Calais the Dragons started strong gaining a 10-4 spread after 8 minutes of action and widening it to 25-13 midway. Through the third frame Woodland added a 14-12 edge to enter the last period with a 39-25 lead. A big momentum swing started when the Dragons lost their two men down under to fouls; the Blue Devils took advantage with two 3’s by Jacob Hornbrook and another from Justice Bassett and a big 30-point output to rally to a thrilling 55-54 victory at the horn. Senior veteran Branden Gillespie had a superb double-double connecting for 21-points (13-4th period) with 17 big rebounds, Jacob Hornbrook hit 4-3’s with 14 points, and Addison Coty scored 13 in the win. On the Dragons ledger senior Kalob Moody had a double-double with 12 points and 11-rebounds and Drew Hayward paced with 19 points and 6 steals. Miller, Russell, and Phelps added 6 points each.



Lee 55  Calais 40

Tony Chu netted 17 points as Lee Academy prevailed. Alex Platonov added 11 points for the Pandas.

Addison Coty paced Calais with 14 points.

At East Millinocket, Justin Thompson poured in 28 points to power the Wolverines by the Blue Devils.

Riley Dionne chipped in with 15 points for Schenck and Chris King netted 14 to go with 10 rebounds.

Brian Gillespie paced Calais with 16 points and Nathan Smith added 12.
