St. Croix Regional Technical Center held its Seventh Annual National Technical Honor Society induction ceremony at Calais High School on March 23rd.

This year’s guest speaker and honorary inductee into the Society was Mr. Robert Fitzsimmons, Baileyville Chief of Police.

It is the policy of the National Technical Honor Society that each member school establishes and maintains its own candidate membership standards and selection criteria.

NTHS candidates must have a minimum overall GPA of 3.5, an additional GPA requirement for technical classes, active involvement in student government and Career and Technical Service Organizations, strong attendance and no disciplinary record. They pledge to maintain the highest standard of personal and professional conduct at all times, refuse to engage in or condone activities for personal gain at the expense of fellow students, school, or employer, support the intents and purposes of NTHS, and uphold their obligations as citizens of their community and country.

SCRTC is a Career and Technical Education high school that accepts students from Eastport, Woodland, and Calais.
