Join CRH in Commemorating 100th Anniversary

In January, Calais Regional Hospital marked 100 years of caring for patients in the greater Calais region.  Various activities are underway to honor this milestone in the hospital’s history.

On April 28, a Centennial Gala will be held to commemorate 100 Years of Quality Healthcare Close to Home.    This event is part of the hospital’s yearlong celebration of its 100th anniversary and is open for anyone to attend.   Tickets are available at the hospital or via a special webpage section of the hospital’s website for the Centennial Anniversary at: www.calaishospital.org/100.    Information is also available on the hospital’s Facebook page.

As part of the hospital’s centennial, stories of the past are being collected from community members, employees, and patients to share in a Centennial Storybook.   Stories can be submitted directly to the hospital via the Community Relations Department, or through the webpage mentioned above.   A few stories have already been received and can be viewed in the online Storybook section.   If you, or a family member, have stories of “back in the day” of Calais Regional Hospital, we want to hear them.  Just record the details and forward them on to CRH to be included.    New stories will be added to the story book as they are received.

Plans are also being made for a family event in early Fall.  Watch for updates and be sure to join the celebration!
