Woodland High Presents Scholarships to Class of 2017

Thirty-two young men and women graduated Woodland High School on Saturday, June 3, 2017. The graduates have announced their future intentions. Of the thirty-two graduates, thirteen students are looking toward four-year programs (40.6 %), seven are looking to two-year programs (21.9 %) two are opting for the military (.06.3 %) and 10 students want to enter the workforce (31.25 %)

School administrators and community donors presented scholarships to the following: Emily Clark: the Alexander-Crawford Scholarship, W. T. Wren Post and Woodland High School Alumni; Lauren Cook: St. Croix Regional Family Health Center in Memory of Harry Bailey; William Cooke: the Knights of Columbus, Calais Lions Club and John and Mary Hazelwood Memorial, Woodland Alumni and Scholarship in Memory of Peter D. Mercier

Paige Fitch: Shawn Ryan Donahue Memorial, Jessica Kelley Memorial, Princeton Rod and Gun Club, Princeton Congregational Church, Glenn L. Martin Memorial, Princeton Munchkin Drama, Calais Lioness, St. Croix Regional Family Health Center in Memory of Harry Bailey, Michael W.
