Calais-Area Fall Baseball

The 12 to 14 year old group that makes up the Calais-area fall baseball team has been busy with team practices, including a team clinic last week at Sluggers Training Facility in Brewer.  There, the team received instruction from Dean Husted, who was drafted at the age of 19 and played Rookie Ball with the Montreal Expos, and Justin Crisafulli, who was drafted out of high school to the Red Sox in the 17th round of the 1996 MLB draft, and in 2016, was entered into the National Semi Pro Baseball Association Hall of Fame.

The fall team begins its regular season on September 3rd with games scheduled throughout eastern Maine every Sunday until mid-October.
