There have been 21 black bears tagged at the Pine Tree Store this fall season, the largest being 300 pounds. The morning is a good time to see one of the bears as it is being tagged. A credit is due to the folks at the Pine Tree Store as they will tag a bear at most any time of the day or night, another great advantage of having the store open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on a daily basis throughout the fall and winter.
