Start Your Christmas Shopping at the Charlotte Craft Fair

This Saturday, November 4th, at 9 a.m., you can start working on your Christmas preparations and will be able to check off many names on your list.  This fair is well know for the fine crafts and food and raffles that have become a traditional Christmas season send off that the Charlotte Fire and Rescue Department Auxiliary mounts each year this first Saturday in November.  There are various local vendors and non-profit groups that have tables full of lots of beautiful and interesting things.  The Charlotte Historical Society will have available for sale cookbooks, Charlotte history books, and other possible items.  The Auxiliary itself will have a well-filled craft table of their various creations, a big bake sale (pies, cakes, cookies, whoopie pies, fudge, bread, rolls, and other assorted items), and lunches available all day -  hot dogs, chili, fish chowder, sandwiches, bean plates, and more.  Of course, there will be the usual large raffle tables, too.  Be sure to include it in your craft sale journeys.
