Here we are in the start of another week! Right around the corner is the The Lioness Christmas Parade on December 1st. 

A lovely Christmas Fair at the Congregational Church took place on Saturday. The tables were beautifully decorated, lots of goodies, paintings, jewelry, dishes and much more. With people dropping in and out it was quite a festive celebration. 

My son and wife were home over the weekend from New Hampshire. It was great to have them, helped me with some chores.

Sister Judy was down from Moncton visiting her sister Pat Yardley.

I enjoyed Patti Dahl and Heart Song at the Second Baptist on Saturday evening. A lovely lunch was served. The next concert is from local singers on December 8th at 6:30. That will be very enjoyable. 

The Methodist Church is having their Christmas Fair on December 2nd from 9:00 a.m. to noon (US).

The concerts and bazaars are endless this fall. On December 8th at 6 p.m. (US) Christ Church on Prince William Street in St. Stephen is featuring a group of musicians and soloists sharing their talent. 

St. Stephen - Milltown Lions’ Club invite you to tune in, enjoy and give on Sunday, November 26th 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. (CAN) for Santas’s Helper Fundraiser. It will be airing live from SSMS Auditorium.

Just another reminder on St Anne’s yearly cookie sale on Dec. 2nd. Always a sell out so come early.

Mt. View Chamber Singers “Carols in the Round” will be here once again on Dec. 8th at St. Anne’s Church.

Friday, Nov. 24th & Saturday Nov. the 25th from 5 p.m. to - Midnight (CAN) is Midnight Madness in St. Stephen. 

Slice O’ Sunshine Pie

Stir 2/3 cup boiling water into 1 pkg. lemon jello until dissolved, at least 2 mins. Stir in 2 tsp lemon zest. In a large bowl, beat 8 oz room temperature cream cheese with 1/4 c sugar until blended; carefully add jello beating until blended. Fold in 8 oz. Cool Whip and chill one hour. Spoon into graham cracker crust and chill overnight, top with whipped cream or meringue.

Hospital Auxiliary Annual Christmas supper is being held at Calais Hospital classroom on Dec. 4th at 5 p.m. Must RSVP by Nov. 29th to DeeDee at 454-7421. Cards are optional and bring your appetite. There will be some short meetings and drawings. See you there!
