For over twenty years St. Anne’s Episcopal Church in Calais has helped to kick off the holiday season with their annual Cookie Sale. The sale gets everyone geared up for the Christmas season with some sugary sweets.

Every year St. Anne’s bakes up a storm so that all the treats they offer are homemade. The tradition has become such a part of people’s holiday season that they would look for specific cookies made by certain people.

There were also bird seed ornaments to hang outside to feed the birds this winter, some homemade candy and hot cocoa so you could try some of the new cookies. Each year the event has grown and plans are already being made for next year.
