Friday evening, December 22nd, at 7 p.m., the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols will be held in the meetinghouse in Dennysville, led by community members and the Festival Choir.  The decorations are already going up and helpers for this large project are always welcome.  Give Windhorsts a call to see when you can help. It’s wonderful to see the transformation happening, and the final results are so beautiful - the perfect setting for this annual celebration of Christmas.

As well as the usual Sunday morning service in Dennysville on the 24th, there will also be a Christmas Eve service at 8 p.m.  It is a very intimate and special service - a quiet pondering of the miracle of Christmas, in candlelit beauty.

The Lincoln Memorial Library in Dennysville will be taking a break over Christmas week and through New Years Day, so … no First Monday Tea at the Library for January.  Why not make one of your New Year’s beginnings to be helping out at the library … or just coming in to visit.  We’re always looking for new ideas for ways in which the library might better serve the community.
