The church has no dinners in December, although the congregation had a very enjoyable Christmas party earlier in the month.

Both the Chancel and the Festival choirs in Dennysville are busily working on music for all the up-coming services in order to end the year properly.

On Sunday, the 24th, there will be the usual Sunday service, with special Christmas anthems, at 11 a.m.  Then, in the evening, beginning at 8 p.m. there will be a traditional Christmas Eve Service of Holy Communion in the candlelit meetinghouse sanctuary.

Dennysville Library:

The Lincoln Memorial Library in Dennysville will be on Christmas “vacation” the whole week following Christmas. The library re-opens on Tuesday, January 2nd.

Due to New Year’s Day, a federal holiday when the library will be closed, we will NOT be holding a First Monday Tea at the Library in January.  The next Tea at the Library will be on February the 5th, beginning at 4 p.m. when we can talk about anything, but perhaps … New Year’s Resolutions and how ours are going.  Certainly, hopes and dreams for the library’s future are always on our minds, too, and we long for new ideas.  Everyone is welcome.

If you wish to return a book at any time there is a handy book drop slot to the right of the door.
