I haven’t had a column for a while because I had to have rotator cuff surgery on my left shoulder.

There is some news in town that needs telling about. Trash pick-up, usually scheduled for Monday, will be on Tuesday due to Monday being Christmas.

December birthdays - Logan Caruso - 1st, Katherine Allison - 2nd, India Brezovsky - 4th, Cameron Moholland - 9th, Christian Fowler - 12th, Don Sargent - 19th, Jeremy Sandock - 22nd, Addison Coty - 22nd, Danielle White, Edward Mekelburg and Elton Crossman all on the 24th, Rosinha Crossman - 25th.

There will be a Christmas Eve service at the Sewall Memorial Congregational Church next Sunday at 2:30 p.m.

We haven’t had too bad of a winter yet. The last snowfall washed away.

I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with good health and happiness. I can’t believe 2018 is around the corner. It seems like yesterday when I was welcoming the new century with all the dire events that were expected and never happened.
