Ceaser’s to Celebrate 4 Year Anniversary with Super Bowl Sunday

If you’re a football fan, Ceaser’s in Calais is inviting you to enjoy Super Bowl Sunday at their location at the Motor Inn. The flagship event for the NFL is also the signifier for the restaurant’s fourth year in operation, along with its upstairs counterpart, Nino’s.

“It seems like it was only yesterday,” said owner John Marchese of the opening of the restaurant. “Sometimes, though, it feels like it was ten years ago.” Marchese is pleased with how the two restaurants have been doing over the past few years. “It’s been excellent. It’s worked out well for us.”

Ceaser’s was a pet project of Marchese’s, and it was suitably named after a beloved yellow lab that was with the family for almost 17 years. Ceaser the lab was referred to as “a friendly old boy” by everyone that met him, and he was the obvious choice in name for the restaurant. Nino’s, on the other hand, bears Marchese’s middle name.

During Super Bowl Sunday, customers will have the opportunity to take home a variety of free giveaways sponsored by Budweiser. A full menu will be available, including the establishment’s most popular offering – bone-in chicken wings. Ten sauces are offered to complement the wings, including a buffalo hot sauce (which Marchese says is most popular), sweet chili sauce, and a habanero sauce. Another favorite at Ceaser’s is the extensive pizza menu, all of which is made with hand-tossed homemade dough. On game night, the event will be viewable on any of the eight televisions in the dining area, including one 60-inch screen and one 55-inch screen. “Come early if you’d like to get a seat,” Kristy Marchese advised.

As a new addition to Ceaser’s, the restaurant has added a Golden Tee golf machine. A virtual golfing game, patrons are able to “take a swing” using their hands to test their skill against players in similar locations across the country.

Business has been steady at the eateries since they opened, and the number of weddings and Christmas parties have dramatically increased, Marchese shared. Two years ago, an outdoor deck was added, and that has been popular when the weather is appropriate for it.

No major structural changes are anticipated for the coming year. A new cook has been hired at Ceaser’s with a background in Mexican cooking, and Kristy said that customers can expect new additions to Taco Tuesdays. The menu will be revamped further in the springtime.
