The coyote contest continues to roll along with 54 harvested at this time. Here are the details. Smith’s General Store has tagged 22 with 8 males and 14 females. Partridge Farm has tagged 12 coyotes with 3 males and 9 females. The Pine Tree Store has tagged 13, 10 males and 3 females. Whitney’s  has tagged 7, 5 are males and 2 are females.  Each coyote has a value of $46.11.  There are 32 contestants and the total purse to be shared now totals $3,090. I was talking with a neighbor recently who harvested a coyote just as the animal was ready to spring on a young fawn.
