Lenten Bible Study: Finding Help In Temptation

Each Friday in Lent, you are invited to join in one or both of two Bible studies that will explore how to handle relationships, distractions, sincere prayer, extremism, friendships, unselfishness, pleasure, troughs and peaks, and many more of life’s challenges.  To help in this search for guidance, the Bible will be the source for the scriptural  background necessary to appreciate letters (supposedly from a senior instructor devil to a junior apprentice devil on how to prod a Christian into NOT believing in God) in the book by C.S. Lewis (who also wrote the Narnia Chronicles) called The Screwtape Letters.  It is sure to be interesting, instructive, and helpful.  These are matters that everyone, every day has to be prepared to face.  The gatherings will take place at 10 a.m. at the Dennysville Congregational Church and 1:30 p.m. at the Perry Congregational Church.
