Tim Caverly visited Woodland Elementary School

On February 13, Tim Caverly visited Woodland Elementary School. Tim Caverly is a Maine author who has written seven books about the Maine Wilderness.  The students were treated to a great presentation on Tim's writing process.  Tim taught students where his ideas came from, the dedication it takes to publish a piece of writing, and all of it was based on Maine history and geology.  The students even got to enjoy a visit from his lovely golden retriever. A big thank you goes out to Sherry Cox for organizing the author visit.  All students in grades 4-6 were given a free book, signed by Tim Caverly.  This was possible because of the donations from the following: Woodland Pulp, LLC, St. Croix Tissue, Downeast Credit Union, Cheri Nicolosi, Bridgette Monk, Carley Corbett, Peter & Carmen Perkins and Amber Arbo.
