MARCH 14: 50th Anniversary Tribute, The Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem Sing of the Sea - songs from the most influential sea music recording performed by members of “From Away Downeast” at the Pembroke Library at 6:30 p.m.

MARCH 15: The Harlem Superstars will be performing at Calais High School. at 6:30 p.m. Tickets on sale at CES, CMHS, or from Toby Cole. Proceeds benefit Calais JMG.  

MARCH 16: Movie Night at the Lincoln Memorial Library in Dennysville -  All Creatures Great & Small &  the Miss Marple tale, Murder in the Library by Agatha Christie at 6:30 p.m.

MARCH 16: Bible Study - Finding Help in Temptation through the Bible and “The Screwtape Letters” at the Dennysville Parish Hall at 1:30 p.m.

MARCH 17: Violin Recital at the Eastport Arts Center: Lulu Calame, Siobhan Duffy and Cora Sánchez at 1 p.m.

MARCH 17: Washington Co. Historical & Genealogical Society Meeting will be at 1 p.m. in the Emergency Management Room in Machias. Carole McCoy will be the speaker.

MARCH 17: Annual “Irish” boiled dinner at the Dennysville-Edmunds Congregational Church Parish Hall at 5 p.m.

MARCH 17: The Washington County Republicans will be holding their regular meeting at the Whiting Community Center at 10 a.m.  Special speaker will be former Commissioner Mary Mayhew, a Republican candidate for Governor.  Direct questions to Marianne Moore, Chair 454-0501.

MARCH 18: Sunday Afternoons at the Eastport Arts Center presents an art talk by Richard Van Buren and Anna Hepler at 3 p.m.

MARCH 18: Monthly meeting of the St. Croix Valley Amateur Radio Club in the Recreation Room at Methodist Homes at 5:30 p.m.

MARCH 19: Soup & Sermon at Blakey Memorial Church in Eastport at noon.

MARCH 20: Spaghetti dinner for the CMHS Music Department at the First Congregational Church in Calais from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

MARCH 22: Anchor Lodge No. 41 Knights of Pythias will meet at the Eastport Youth Center. Doors unlocked at 6 p.m. for members.

MARCH 22: UMaine Jazz Ensemble in concert at 6 :30 p.m. at the Eastport Arts Center.

MARCH 23: Coffee House at the Calais Free Library from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

MARCH 23: Calais Area Breast Cancer Support Group will be meeting at 3 p.m. in the downstairs parlor at the Calais United Methodist Church, 849 Main St., Calais.  Open to all that have a breast cancer diagnosis.  FMI call Marianne at 454-0501.
