Woodland Rec. Dept. Halloween Party

The Woodland Recreation Department hosted its annual Halloween Party at the elementary school.  All area children were welcomed and enjoyed free treats, games, and prizes. This marked the 29th year that the recreation department hosted the event. (Photos by Jayna Smith).

Free Concert for Senior Citizens

On May 28 there was a free concert for senior citizens and their guests at the Second Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. The First Annual Tri-M Student concert featuring Tri-M Members, CHS Chorus, Jazz Combo, Meghan Clark, Quinn Sluzenski, Jackson Greenlaw, Thomas Champagne, Kylie Donovan, Niomi Stow, Patrick Corbett, Brynne Lander, Ive McLellan and Gavin Parks.

Operations at Milltown Port to Resume

Facility modernization to be complete this week

 CALAIS, Maine - U.S. Customs & Border Protection Office of Field Operations Milltown port of entry will resume operations Nov. 27, at 8:00 am. The port was temporarily closed on May 1, due to the demolition and reconstruction of a new facility at this location.
