Local Food Delivery Service Started in St. Stephen

Earlier this summer, a unique business was started in St. Stephen, offering its clients a steady, weekly delivery service of fresh local food. Andrene “Ande” Mosher started her service (called “The Beet”) as a way to fulfill what she saw was a pressing need.

Calais Librarian Retiring After 34 Years Of Service

“It just feels right,” she told a Calais Advertiser reporter.  “It’s time for a change for me and the library.  I still love it, but it is time for somebody else to step in.”
She will finish her career at the library on June 30th.
