The SCEC website reminds interested people about the workshops for starting and running their own businesses. The first session starts on April 6. For more information, go to: or call 255-0783. The Red Tent Women’s Group will meet Saturday, March 26 from 2:30 to 5pm in the Heartwood Lodge lobby at the Cobscook Community Learning Center. You may call 271-8881 to learn more about it. On Thursday, March 31st at 2pm, The Kurdi Margolis Wright Trio will have a Music and Movement Workshop at the CCLC, with an 8pm performance.

On Sunday, April 3rd from 7am to 4pm there will be an ATV Safety Course at the CCLC. On the 10th of April there will be a Scionwood Exchange and Grafting Demo from 1-4pm at CCLC. the SCEC site lists many other activities offered in Washington County through the month of April.

The Princeton Town Office at 15 Depot Street has nomination papers available for the following: (2) three year terms open on the Board of Selectmen; (1 three year term on the Water District Board; and (2) three year terms on the School Board. Papers need to be returned to the Town Office  no later than April 29. Though it is still a ways off, a reminder that voting on the selections for office will be on June 14 at the Town Office Community Room from 8am to 8pm. Budget items will be voted on at the Princeton Elementary School on June 20 at 7pm.


The Downeast Lakes Land Trust is planning a “Big Night” Amphibian Walk on a night between April 1st and April 20th.
